Michael Mangold has many years of experience in mathematical modeling, numerical analysis, parameter identification, model based control and state estimation of nonlinear processes. Application examples have been in the field of chemical reactors, fuel cell systems, population balance systems and systems biology. He has developed tools and methods for bifurcation analysis, model reduction, and optimal experimental design of nonlinear systems.
