The MaxSynBio Network is mainly constituted by Max Planck Institutes from the Chemical-Physical-Technical Section (red) and Max Planck Institutes from the Bio-Medical Section (green) of the Max Planck Society, as well as the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen-Nürnberg (blue). This network is further supported by external partners in Bordeaux.  Coordinating partner institutes are marked by black circles.
