Florine Maes obtained her PhD from ESPCI in Paris and worked afterwards at the MPI for Dynamics and Self-Organization in Göttingen and in the Soft Micro Systems Group of Jean-Christophe Baret at the University of Bordaux. She is specialised in microfluidics and propterties and kinetics of surfactants. Since 2016 Florine Maes contributed as a research and development engineer to the new company Emulseo and since 2018 she is CEO of Emulseo.
